That’s really why I wrote this. When I started looking into it I had no network or community to bounce around ideas. It was very much, “OK, this book needs to come out of my head, now where do I start?”

I did everything from the ground up. I reckon that fact makes the strong case that others can achieve this, too. Yes, I do have a PhD and writing training, but in terms of selling books — almost anyone with social media and a Medium account is going to have a leg up from where I started.

It really is possible. The hardest part is getting your first chapters onto the page, after the ball starts rolling it will all feel natural.
